Forged crusher hammerheads are manufactured by heating metal to 700-1300℃ and applying pressure to the metal billet using forging machinery, causing plastic deformation to obtain forgings with specific mechanical properties, shapes, and dimensions. Forging is one of the two major components of forging and stamping. Forging eliminates defects such as casting porosity generated during the smelting process, optimizes the microstructure, and, because it preserves complete metal flow lines, the mechanical properties of forgings are generally superior to castings of the same material. Furthermore, forged crusher hammerheads must be made of the most wear-resistant materials to ensure wear resistance. Currently, imported wear-resistant material 65Mn is most commonly used, offering good impact resistance, high toughness, good wear resistance, and resistance to breakage.
