Laser cladding, simply put, utilizes a high-energy-density laser beam as a heat source to melt powder or filament materials of specific compositions and coat them onto the surface of a substrate. Rapid solidification forms a dense coating that is metallurgically bonded to the substrate. Shaft-feeding technology, on the other hand, continuously and stably feeds the cladding material in filament form into the laser beam's action area. By precisely controlling the feed speed and laser scanning path, it achieves accurate repair and reinforcement of complex surface shapes.
